Key West Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 (45ml) tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 (15ml)tablespoon honey
  • 1 (15ml)tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (5ml) teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 (3g) teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Directions

  1. In a shallow container, blend soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and garlic. Place chicken breast halves into the mixture, and turn to coat. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.  Or heat oven to 350F (180C).
  3. Lightly oil the grill grate. Discard marinade, and grill chicken 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until juices run clear.  If baking, cook for 30-35 mins.

Taste: 5/5  Very nice. Tasty yet subtle.  Goes very well with rice and roasted veggies

Serve to guests:  Yes.  I think this would make great barbeque chicken.
